Kenya Methodist University Jobs - Teaching Positions

Applications are invited for the teaching positions in the following departments in our School of
Medicine and Health Sciences in our Main Campus (MERU)
1. ENT, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesia, Child Health & Paediatric, Medicine, Human Anatomy, Physiology- 1 position in each of the above departments.
Requirements
i. Tutorial Fellow
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree qualification from accredited and
recognized university in the relevant field. Be registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or
equivalent Doctoral.
ii. Lecturer

Must have an earned Ph.D or M.Med in the relevant field, or equivalent or Master’s degree, 3 years
teaching and 3 publications.
iii. Senior Lecturer
Must have an earned PhD or M.Med or equivalent in the relevant field from an accredited and
recognized University; at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level as a
Lecturer or six (6) years research.
iv. Associate Professor
Must have an earned Ph.D, M.Med or equivalent in the relevant field from an accredited and
recognized University;At least three (3) years teaching experience at the University as a Senior
Lecturer; or Senior Researcher.
v. Professor
Must have an earned Ph.D, M.Med or equivalent in the relevant field from accredited and
recognized University; At least three (3) years teaching experience as an Associated Professor or
equivalent, and research experience.

bodies.
